WEICON Brushable Liquid Zinc Paint

The Zinc Paint is based on spherical (ball formed) zinc pigments in a concentration of approx. 92-93% in the dry film and on a mixture of binding agents made of artificial resins. The resulting properties provide corrosion protection in line with the former DIN 50976 norm (edition 03/1980) for all metal surfaces and also fulfil the higher requirements of the new DIN EN ISO 1461.
The cathodic corrosion protection is achieved through an electro-chemical sealing-up effect of the ingredients, which are exactly modulated to each other.

Anwendungsgebiete:

as highly effective anti-rust primer, e.g. for WEICON metal coatings
for touching-up drilled, cut or welded sections
as conductive intermediate layer in spot welding
wherever metal and particularly hazardous areas of parts, like threads, edges, screws and nuts, must be protected against corrosion.
